This Just In: “Super” news for President Trump: He can relax and enjoy the big game tonight.
Despite the orchestrated chaos over the last few weeks in Minneapolis, a majority of the American people STILL support President Donald Trump and his administration’s deportations of violent illegal immigrants.
Even though negative news cycles showing clashes with ICE agents night after night have no doubt affected the polls a bit (59% of Americans say ICE agents are being “too aggressive” in their operations), the fact is that President Trump himself is holding steady on one of the most important topics among voters during a critical midterm election year. A majority (52%) of Americans still support how he is handling immigration.
In fact, the support has been consistent for months.
BY THE NUMBERS: At the onset of enhanced ICE operations in early October, an initial round of polls showed that nearly 80% of Americans support President Trump’s deportation policy. That shocking news came from an unlikely ally, a Harvard/Harris poll, one of the most liberal polls in the nation.
Despite what Democrats (and the Golden Globes!)(and Bad Bunny!) would have you believe, Americans expressed their support in favor of Trump-directed deportations. They don’t just support deportations for violent, criminal, illegal immigrants who’ve done harm to women, girls, and minority communities — but for ALL immigrants who have simply come here illegally during the Biden administration’s open-border era.
The Harvard/Harris poll also found that a majority of registered voters — 54%, to be exact — support deporting all illegal immigrants, swiftly sending them back to their home countries. It is the first time in American history that a majority of voters have agreed with the sentiment that anyone here illegally should be required to return home then get back in line and apply “the right way” to come to America.
According to another liberal poll, The New York Times/Siena poll, a surprising 56% of Americans favor deporting all immigrants - regardless of whether they have a criminal record.
Make no mistake, this is a seismic shift in public opinion.
It is the highest level of support for mass deportations in American history, and it’s the highest the “deport-them-all” sentiment has been since President Barack Obama’s crackdown on illegal immigration in the early 2010s.
But wait, there’s more.
In another blow to the Democrat playbook, Americans are no longer overwhelmingly supportive of allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the country solely “because they have a job.” The percentage of American voters who believe this reason alone is enough to remain in the country has fallen nearly 5% since this time last year as Biden was departing, and it’s down a whopping 10% since Obama held office in 2015. Among Republicans, the freefall was even steeper: Republican support for allowing illegals to remain here strictly for a job fell nearly 30% from what they felt was acceptable a decade ago.
The news gets even worse for Democrats.
Remember that tired, old, government shutdown stunt Democrats tried to pull before the holidays? Americans didn’t fall for it. Nearly two-thirds of Americans responded that Democrats should not attempt to shut down the government in order to give free healthcare to illegal immigrants. In fact, the majority of voters stated they would blame Democrats, not Republicans, if a government shutdown were to occur.
It’s no wonder Democrats hit the panic button, called up their billionaire friends, and worked overtime to stoke fear in the streets. They are attempting to manufacture chaos and muddy the message.
Despite what you hear at the Super Bowl tonight, rest easily that President Trump is holding steady in his approval ratings and maybe even take joy in the fact that public opinion continues to fly in the face of liberal Democrats who slander and stalk hard-working law enforcement officers while falsely claiming the American people have been aghast at President Trump’s strict immigration policies.
The truth is, Americans couldn’t be happier with the president on immigration.

WHERE TO WATCH: 🚨 Turning Point USA’s “All-American Super Bowl Halftime Show”
Americans are tired of being lectured to by ill-informed entertainers, and families across the land are looking to tune out of tonight’s NFL halftime show and instead opt for something a bit more wholesome. Something that celebrates all Americans, if you will.
Right on cue, Turning Point USA has risen to the occasion with the launch of its “All-American Super Bowl Halftime Show.” (We personally love the name!)
Kid Rock will headline the alternate halftime show, with country music artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and American Idol alum Gabby Barnett joining in the festivities.

Before kickoff this evening, during the playing of our National Anthem, we remember the patriots who secured our independence 250 years ago through courage, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in the cause of liberty. We pause to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who carry that legacy forward, defending and preserving our way of life throughout history and into the future. Their service makes possible the freedoms we hold dear, including the privilege to gather with family and friends on a Sunday night to watch football and the blessing to live in the strongest and freest Nation the world has ever known.
Tonight’s game is more than just a championship—it’s a uniquely American tradition that reflects the distinct passion and perseverance of our country. On the field, players and coaches bring years of hard work, preparation, and commitment to football’s biggest night. Across the country, millions of fans come together to cheer on their teams and share in a moment of history. Today, every American is a football fan.
Melania and I congratulate both teams on earning their place in Super Bowl LX, and we wish them luck as they compete for the National Football League’s iconic Vince Lombardi Trophy. May tonight’s game reflect the best of football and the enduring triumph of the American spirit—and may the best team win!
